Functions — IGCSE Mathematics - International (0607) questions by topic

Function questions move between representations: completing a mapping diagram for a linear function, sketching a cubic graph over a stated x-range, sketching a reciprocal-style curve, and evaluating a logistic growth model at a given input all test reading and drawing functions accurately.

Find, draw, state, complete and explain lead the command words, worth from 2 to 11 marks, across 14 questions from 2025 papers. Because sketches need correct shape and key features rather than just plotted points, practise checking asymptotes, intercepts and turning points before submitting, then use instant marking to see whether your sketch would be marked as showing the right overall shape for that function.
