Data manipulation (databases) — IGCSE Information And Communication Technology (0417) questions by topic
Database questions run through practical data manipulation: adding a new record to a learners' table, importing a CSV file with dates in day-month-year format, building one-to-many relationships between linked fields, and constructing queries or reports from imported data. Complete, produce and construct direct these build steps, while state and explain cover short written points about field types or relationships.
20 questions from 2023 to 2025 are gathered here, worth from 1 up to 30 marks for the longer build tasks. A single wrongly typed field or missing relationship link can cascade into several later steps failing, so submitting completed database tasks for instant marking flags that root cause immediately instead of leaving it to surface only in the final report.
