Biological molecules — AS & A Level Biology (9700) questions by topic

Polysaccharide and protein structure questions dominate this large topic: comparing cellulose, amylopectin and glycogen structurally, describing collagen's fibre arrangement, and identifying which parts of a phospholipid can be saturated. Deduce, explain and identify are the leading command words, and deduce wants structural evidence read from a diagram, such as ring shapes or monomer overlaps, rather than recalled definitions.
