Generation and communication of ideas — IGCSE Design & Technology (0445) questions by topic
Generation and communication of ideas questions ask candidates to state research questions a designer might ask, or add specification points for products such as a condiment holder, a paint holder or an adjustable guitar stand. Marks run from 3 to 25, reflecting a mix of short recall parts and fuller specification-writing tasks.
State, name and give are the command words that recur, each wanting a specific, usable point rather than a broad design philosophy.
