The world around us — IGCSE Chinese - Foreign Language (0547) questions by topic
A Christmas market recurs across several questions: identifying what a character finds inside it, and judging whether a description of the day's weather is positive, negative or both, so recognising physical objects and emotional tone are tested side by side.
Choose and identify lead the command words, worth 1 mark each, across 8 questions from 2025 papers. Because weather descriptions often mix a negative detail with a positive one in the same sentence, practise listening right to the end of a description before deciding its overall tone, then use instant marking to check whether an early impression led you to the wrong positive-negative-both judgement.
