Listening — IGCSE Chinese - Foreign Language (0547) questions by topic
Everyday scenes provide the material: what looks good in a teahouse, what Mum bought at home, what there is a lot of in the street, and whether a description of church architecture reads as positive, negative or a mix of both.
Choose and identify are the command words tested, worth 1 mark each, across 8 questions from 2025 papers. Because the positive-negative-both judgement recurs here too, practise listening for qualifying words that shift a description from purely positive to mixed, then use instant marking to check whether your tone judgement matched what the transcript actually conveyed rather than the first adjective heard.
